Sloughing off dead cells also helps ingredients penetrate. We recommend either using a body brush with a dollop of cleanser while bathing or simply dry brushing, whereby you take a brush and gently sweep it over your knees on a regular basis. Please keep in mind that dry brushing should only be done on healthy, unbroken skin and not on an excessive basis, as overdoing it can actually thicken the skin.
